The SVS is also operated several programs related to conservation of water, forest, environment, bio-diversity including its natural heritage in different terms of references. For this, We have organized several workshop, rallies, debates and seminars on different issues to aware & organize the community towards the conservation of natural resources.
Apart from above, the programs related to conservation & storage of water through the installation of Aahar, wells, tanks and check dams have also been constructed & renovated by the organization in the districts of Jharkhand & Bihar states with the support of MESO, Jharkhand and CAPART, Patna. These programs are very much beneficial for more than thousands population in terms of the storage & recharge of ground water as well as the provisions of complete irrigation to the small and marginal farmers.
In continuation of this program, the organization is engaged in a program of watershed development under IWMP in 74 villages of district Pakur, Jharkhand to conserve & manage the water with the support of Jharkhand water shed mission. More than 6000 hectares of land will be covered in this program & accordingly a huge population of the area will be benefitted in terms of a change in their quality of life.
